FYI:

My Lisa Rule: I have 4 sisters and Lisa is the baby (we’ll she’s not a baby anymore). Of all of my sisters I’m the most protective over her. Before I share any product or service with you, it must pass my Lisa Rule.

What’s the Lisa Rule? If I would not advise Lisa to use a product or service, I won’t advise you to. YOU are my Lisas. I feel protective over you and your financial journey.

All of the Goodies above pass my Lisa Rule. Yes, I am an affiliate of Digit, Ebates and Credit Karma, but I would not recommend a product or service that I didn’t believe was helpful and useful. If fact, I used all of the mentioned Goodies long before I became an affiliate. I’m sharing them with you because they’ve worked so well for me.

#MMSWEEPSTAKES My current financial goal is to raise my credit score to 700. I know that I can buy a home with a 620 score BUT I can achieve a better rate of interest with the 700 score. Plus, give myself time to build my savings. I plan to achieve this task by keeping my credit utilization low, not applying for new credit for the next three months and paying my bill in full by the bill date but keeping my utilization low by the closing date. I am using the tools and resources I have gained while in the DC group on FB which has been a tremendous help. It even felt great putting it on the screen right here!

I’m new to your program so I decided to start small so I won’t give up. Kind of like weight loss. We all want to lose 40 pounds, but 5 pounds at a time is the best positive way to keep the momentum going to reach your goal. My goal is a fence. I know this sounds so cheesy (God I’m old)! But I live in a beautiful Art district and I want a designer craftsman’s style fence. This fence is going to cost me about $6,000. But it’s okay. I have a plan. I took on a PT job, and everyone last one of my checks goes into an online account in which I do not own a debit card. I started this job in December 2015 and I have $2,400 saved toward my September goal. I’m 1/3 of the way there in time AND within my finances. I’m getting my fence this year Budgetnista!!!!

I just signed up for the e-mails, hope I get something out of this webebsite, I want the book but money is tight. I’m a divorcee pushing age 60 & trying to survive on $12/hour (average), I have a roommate out of financial necessity, I owe more on my car than what it’s worth (I swear I’ll be paying forever), still paying back a student loan for a useless degree I got 15 years ago, I owe state tax every year (this year almost $700!), can’t afford to have any more taxes taken out or I can’t survive financially. I never go anywhere or do anything–no extra $$$. I’m lucky I’m earning $12; I was unemployed for a while & most jobs were paying $10/hour or less. Most business aren’t anxious to hire my age. I have a job I like w/good benefits, reliable transportation (even if it isn’t paid for), family/friends nearby, a decent apartment–but I see no end to my money problems (too much going out, not enough coming in), not to mention that my health is not in the best of shape (OA), I’m dreading any medical bills so I avoid the doctors unless necessary. I sure hope there’s light at the end of my long financial tunnel. . . .
