Sooo, y’all know me pretty well by now. You know I love to get additional perks for everyday life experiences.

I recently saved $60/ month, $720/year by switching my car insurance company to Esurance. I was even able to maintain my same coverage!

I also recently discovered that I could switch to a prepaid plan via my cell phone provider, Verizon Wireless, and save $50/month, $600/ year. The best part is I can use my same phone and number and still maintain unlimited talk, text and 4GB of data!

Lastly, I realized that if I shared internet access with my neighbors I could reduce my bill to $15/month and save $40/month, $480/year.

These 3 changes alone are saving me a whopping $130/month, $1560/year!!

Needless to say, “I’m about this Budgetnista life“. 🙂

I’m always on the hunt for even more ways to add value to what I do and use daily. Imagine my surprise and glee when I found out that I could do so by simply browsing online.

Picture this:

You open your computer daily, do your normal browsing, buying, searching and sharing stuff and in return you get PAID!

How you might ask? I was recently introduced to a new browser called Perk.

With Perk you earn points to do what you already do online. After you earn your points, you can convert them into cash (my fav), gift cards and airline miles (my second fav), and more!

You can even use Perk App on your smarter-than-you phone. 🙂

Get points even faster!

Perk has a perk. (See what I did there?) If you connect your Perk Account with your PayPal Account, you can to reduce your pending period on shopping points from 90 days to 30 days! is preeeeetty cool thus far. I earned 100 points just for signing up, 5 points for liking the Perk Facebook page and 1 point while I was searching for coupons for an online purchase I’m planning.

I’m already up to 106 points in the first 10 minutes of joining!

Currently the lowest amount of points you need to redeem something is 550. That will get you a $5 Starbucks gift card. Pretty sweet huh? <<- -pun totally intended

Starbucks Perk

I think I’ll collect my points for a while and redeem them for something bigger, like cold hard cash or airline miles.

What will you do with your Perks?

Happy earning!

Live richer,
